We breed show quality Champagne d' Argent Rabbits

The Champagne d'Argent is one of the oldest known domesticated rabbit breeds in the world. The name comes from the Champagne region of France where this breed was first developed.  Kits are born black and develop a beautiful silver coat by 6 to 8 months of age. These rabbits reach 9 to 12 pounds at maturity and can live for 7 to 12 years. Bred for both meat and show these rabbits are frequent best in show winners. They also have great temperaments and make wonderful companion animals when socialized early. This large and hardy breed is a great all around rabbit for first time rabbit owners.
